“Exactly what you want from a traditional British loudspeaker. Luscious mids. This speaker presents vocals, horns and any other acoustic instrument with authentic tonality. They sound "real." It does everythign else pretty well too - plenty of clear bass and treble, plenty of detail, nice imaging, nice balance throughout the frequency spectrum. Cabinetry: the best there is in a classic design. There are speakrs with shinier finishes and more sci-fi designs, but if you like a classic look, nobody does it better than this. Quality is present in every detail. Sometimes Spendors are considered "polite," or it's said that they sound nice but don't rock out. Depends on the amp. A sweet, harmonically rich amp will emphasize their easy-going tone, a lively amp will make them jump. Special thanks to Sean for making this purchase fun and easy.”
