“Have had several phono preamps over the years, before this I was using a Pro-Ject Tube Box DS2 . This new unit from Soundsmith is the same price but gives a new level of detail and control which I have never before was exposed to. Stereophile Class A rated. Same price as the previous Pro-Ject. Unless you want to spend 2-3 thousand dollars more, this is the one to buy.”
