“Phenomenal set of stands and a great retailer! I have these stands set up with my Dali Oberon 3s and they’re primo. I filled them 3/4 of the way with aquarium sand because they are cleaned and then kiln baked causing the sand to be bone dry and sterile. It is also denser than play sand and cokes in 10-15lb bags. Play sand comes in too large of quantities. The other denser option would be atabites or Steel Shot Abrasive Blasting Media, 550 Grit. Atabites is designed to be used in speaker stands but both are stainless steel inert filler. I plan to keep these stands for awhile and whenever I upgrade to the KEF R3 Metas I’m sure they will look stellar together! Upscale was very helpful in my call about filling these stands and I would recommend both the stands and this seller!!”
