“The Sutherland KC Vibe is in incredible phono stage. I was not aware of the brand until Ken from Upscale Audio suggested it and then the lightbulb went off given the designer’s legacy. Incredible form factor, aesthetics (IMHO), and dynamic & engaging sound from the unit across all types of music. I’m currently A/B comparing the KC Vibe with it’s larger and more upscale (pun intended) sibling the 20/20. The KC Vibe holds it’s own and is an incredible buy if you are in the sub-$1.5K market. Simply beautiful. I’m having so much fun after discovering Upscale Audio, Kevin Deal’s no BS product videos, and the amazingly well designed website. Many more hi-fi purchases to come to my wife’s chagrin:-). Kudos to the UA team that I’ve had the pleasure of working with to date - Ken, Randall, and Kat in order of my interaction history - a bunch of true audio enthusiasts. P.S. my KC Vibe was missing a serial number sticker and I called the support number in the manual. Ron Sutherland himself answered the call and thanked me for calling him because he was trying to find out where the one unit with a missing S/N went. The S/N was shipped to me immediately with a hand written note from Ron himself. Since then I’ve been exchanging texts with Ron an all things hi-fi. What a stand-up guy. A sutherland and Upscale Audio fan forever.”
