“This amp is something special. At first blush, it appeared quite understated, even meager - during the break-in period it sounded so compressed that I nearly sent it back. Thankfully, Joel at Upscale talked me down and after it crossed over the 100-hour mark it opened up into something truly beautiful. It is lush and subtle, powerful yet understated, and clear without sacrificing musicality. It lets the music shine forth in a way that I am hearing more, and enjoying more, without calling attention to itself or over-emphasizing any aspect of the music ... quite magical really. Kit-wise, it's driving KLH Model Fives playing vinyl on a Technics SL-1500C, and it is the best-sounding system I have ever owned, hands-down.”

“I have been listening to the Vincent Audio SV-500 for almost a month now. Right out of the box, it sounded amazing and it's only getting better with time. This is a very powerful-sounding amplifier even though it's rated at 50 WPC. The fit and finish of the amp are top-shelf. I especially enjoy the remote control which is a very nice piece of kit. Overall this a high-quality amplifier with the beautiful sound of tube audio and the reliability of solid-state power drivers. Thank you Upscale Audio!”

“Very pleased with this amplifier. It is incorporated into a simple CD only system driving Pro-Ac signature 2000 speakers in a medium sized ( 20' x 24' x 7 1/2' ) well dampened living room. This integrated amp replaced a 20 year old Rega power / pre amp combo. The sound of the Vincent was immediately distinguished by a warm depth of tone, quite different from the somewhat sharper sound of the Rega combo. I accredit this to the tube / SS makeup of the unit. The Pro - Ac speakers are quite natural sounding with the Vincent revealing a pronounced improvement in the low end, with a much richer and deeper bass response. The remote control is functional and intuitive. At the very reasonable price point that the Vincent sells for I consider this to be a terrific value demanding no compromise in performance. I highly recommend this amplifier assuming it is adequate to drive the speakers it is paired with.”

“The Vincent in it's price range is a good bargain. It is very well built but the sound is not what I was looking for. I will most likely be returning it and wait until I can afford another Prima Luna. On the bright side the customer service from Upscale has been it's usual A+ especially from Randall Stewart and Sean.”
