Love our new pair of REL T/7x. Coming from a vintage 25yr old Velodyne 1012, I had questions about a single S-series, single T/9x or if a pair of T/7x would be sufficient. After a pre-purchase consultation with Upscale, a stereo pair of T/7x were ordered for our room configuration and SQL needs. The musicality from the REL with our B&W 805s provides a night and day improvement for our home theater and listening room. I can't speak highly enough about the service and support we've received from Upscale Audio over the years. They are my first stop for all our audio needs.

REL T7X review Several months ago, I decided to acquire a subwoofer to supplement my ATC SCM19 V2 bookshelf speakers in my stereo only music system. Thankfully, REL’s website had a subwoofer and speaker/room matching system. I used it and came up with the T7X which I ordered. I used the high level speakon connection and after experimenting with location came up with an ideal location. After similar experimentation with volume cand crossover settings I got a further matching with the ATCs. I have to say I am gob smacked! The T7X partners the ATCs wonderfully. The soundstage is wider and more defined, and the mid-range and mid-bass are more fleshed out. As other reviewers have noted, the integration is seamless and only noticeable when you turn off the subwoofer. I do not have much experience with other subwoofers. I have owned the ACI Force, RSL Speed Woofer 10s and currently own the Rythmik LV12M. The Rythmik resides in my home-theatre set-up, and I heaved it into my stereo room for a quick comparison. I used the line level connection to my preamp since the Rythmik does not have high level connections. The only advantage the Rythmik has over the T7X is in its ability to go low into the 20hz range – the RELs extend to the low 30s. In terms of integrating with the ATCs there was no contest, the T7X was the clear winner – especially if I extended the Rythmik’s crossover setting above the 40hz range. I am very happy with the T7X it has turned my ATCs into full range speakers and its small size is an added bonus. Upscale Audio’s excellent 60-day trial period is a definite plus. I am toying with the idea of adding a second T7X to my system. The subwoofer was shipped promptly and was double boxed (although I would loose the mass of Styrofoam popcorn for foam padding).

Sound is excellent, adds another dimension to my .7 Maggie's, very adjustable to integrate the sound to make it very realistic bass! Beautiful enclosure as well, gorgeous finish, very impressed!

Simply incredible. As others have said, it's much more than tight beautiful bass. Everything is so much better. I should have done this years ago. Thanks to Sean for the recommendation.
