“Have a PrimaLuna Evo 300, but wanted to add a solid-state integrated amp to my collection. Was looking at the usual suspects: McIntosh, Luxman, PASS, etc. But my go-to sales advisor, the always-excellent Sean Smollon, suggested the T+A. I had never heard of T+A, but the reviews were all fantastic and Sean has NEVER steered me wrong, so I pulled the trigger and purchased the T+A on a leap of faith. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. This integrated amp is SPECIAL. So special, that I almost couldn't believe my ears at first. It was a game-changer from day 1. Build quality is second to none. Raw power off the charts. Grip and control unlike anything I've ever heard. After a month of break-in and repositioning my speakers a tad (Cornwall IVs and stereo REL 212/SX subs), it was like I had upgraded my entire system. When I spun a few LPs for three buddies, you could see their jaws drop. This integrated brings the musicians into the room for a personal live performance. I've never heard more realistic, detailed, dynamic, and powerful low end in my life. Ever. And while nothing beats the PrimaLuna's lush midrange, the T+A far surpasses the PL in every other facet by several orders of magnitude. I will never sell my PL, but it rarely goes into rotation now (usually when I'm listening to more vocal-heavy music). Unless I go with separate mono amps someday, I cannot see myself upgrading my amp ever again. This is an end-game integrated amp. I literally could not be happier.”
