“These are wonderful speakers and are just what the doctor ordered to bring new life to my hifi. I bought these floor standing speaker to replace 4 polk bookshelf speakers. I was reading a lot about the difference between floor standing speakers and bookshelf speaker and what each brings to the table. My bookshelf speaker are fine, no distortion, they don't hiss or crackle, they were fine. I just wanted a fuller more powrful sound delivered to me and that's what floor standing speaker seem to excel at. So, when I saw these speakers on sale and recognizing the name "Tannoy" I purchased them blind. No audition, no evaluation just a thought that they were well designed and well made. And they couldn't be worse than the polks. And man, these speakers made such a big difference... it's like I have a whole new system. The sound delivered is Powerful, Clear and Wide Ranging, Full Bodied. They're just awesome. And here I was thinking I'd be spending thousands to upgrade my system, new amp, new spearker and everthing else needed for mondern listening and in the end all I needed to do is upgrade my speakers. I couldn't be happier about that. And finally, I would like to thank the wonderful people at UpScale Audio!!! they were great!!! I live across the country from their shop and they shipped these speakers to me. The speakers were wonderfully packaged in a big box that had been stuffed with packing materials to eliminater any vibration durring shipping and protect against any damage.. The delivery was speedy and I was notified every step of the way. I wish all companies would follow their lead on handling packaging and delivery services. Thank You Upscale Audio”

“These really bring out the music. The instruments sound natural. It has good bass that can shake the floor without sounding boomy. However, rated at 40hz on the bottom, I can tell it struggles to bring out the deep bass, therefore I will eventually want to get a subwoofer or two. Nevertheless, overall, I’m blown away with how great they sound.”

“I love these speakers. I cannot believe the qualities of these speakers. Their sound surprised me when I set them up. I added a Rel subwoofer and the sound stage opened up further even further. When my friends listen to these speakers their guess that I paid well over $5000 for them.”
