“I am very pleased with my purchase of EL34 and 12AU7 Tung-Sol tubes. I have 2 EVO 400 power amps plus an EVO 400 preamp. I chose Tungsram 12AU7 tubes plus the Tung-Sol 5AR4 rectifier tubes in my preamp but suspect all Tung-Sol would be just as good. The sound is all I could hope for. Dynamics and clarity that i had not experienced form my Turnberry GR speakers. I doubt I will be changing much from this combination.”

“Bought a quad of these to replace the stock EL34's in my PrimaLuna EVO300 integrated. The TS EL34B have a little smoother more natural presentation in the mid and upper midrange compared to stock PL EL34. The bass was a little deeper with greater extension and little bit better overall dynamics. In all they seemed to do everything the stock EL34's did but just a little better. Again Upscale was quick in getting them out the door to me.”

“These tubes are driving Tung-Sol KT-150 power tubes in my Class A1 Differential Mono Blocks. I had used them originally several years ago and replaced them with SED Winged C tubes, now discontinued. The Tung-Sol EL34B is a bargain for $50 less. To my ears, with the Winged C tubes, I heard no musically meaningful difference to justify their cost.”

“These Tung-Sol EL34B tubes have been the best I've had in my setup. They're in a Yaqin MS-30L connected to some vintage speakers I bought in the mid-1980's from a short lived company named Spectrum Audio. I originally upgraded the Shuguang tubes that came w/ the amp with Genelex KT77s. They significantly increased the overall clarity of audio, but even after 100 hours they didn't have the midrange richness I had hoped for. Those were followed by EH 6CA7s that did improve the bass quite a bit, and the midrange somewhat. These T-S EL34Bs came next, and they really have delivered what I was looking for. Great from bass to treble, and - at least in my setup - the midrange is both rich and clear. I'm extremely happy with both these tubes and my shopping experience with Upscale.”
