“These tubes are my favorite over the KT-88, KT-120, 6550. I’ve tried a number of each style I mentioned and the KT-150’s reign supreme. They are so well made. No failures. Can’t go wrong.”

“I was curious about what KT-150's could bring to my system, having used the stock EL-34's since I bought my Primaluna EVO-400 Integrated in November 2020. The EL-34's have an addictively sweet quality to their midrange presentation that I wasn't sure that I could live without. However, after breaking in the KT-150's for about 200 hrs., I am delighted at the difference: more/tighter bass, better delineation of individual instruments and voices in the midrange with a fuller presentation, extended highs that are never shrill and a larger sounstage across the board. These tubes will not leave my system until they actually invent something better. As always, dealing with Upscale Audio was a pleasure- thanks to "Mike from Saugerties, NY" @ Upscale for assisting me with all of my questions and making the purchase process as painless as possible.”

Thanks so much for your review, Chris. We've passed your kind words on to Mike. A lot of people regularly switch between the KT150 and the EL34, as that sweetness of the EL34's with PrimaLuna's inherent slam will draw you back again and again!
