“Up Scale has given me some options with tube rolling that I have taken advantage of. First, I purchased 16 KT120 tubes from my friend; then shortly there after, Kevin's top notch salesforce helped me to decide on 16 KT150s; all Tung Sol...tube rolling can be expensive and not real sure about wear and tear on, not only the tubes but the receptacles they go into...so, I try not to be a tube addict. I've got 100 hours of burn in time on the KT150s; and they are beginning to blossom; wider sound stage; more depth and height; decaying musical notes fade off fast and clean; bass rocks; and midrange is more "in my face" than before. The tweeters do their thing, and nothing more to note about them. I can say for sure, going from the issued tubes in the Prima Luna EVO 400 to the Tung Sol KT120s, and then on to the Tung Sol KT150s was a journey in sound....each sounded differently; each sounded a little better; albeit when listening to Prima Luna, the stock tubes are perfect...but for a little more MORE MORE, the Tung Sols were great. 16 of these tubes packed into two Prima Luna EVO400 monoblocks not only does my system justice, it keeps the room nice and toasty. Nice tubes...but for sure, get some amp fans...these tubes play at 95 degrees...give them some good ventilation and they will last many years..”

“The Upscale Audio service was outstanding. I have a PrimaLuna EO 400 power amp. In sound quality I can't honestly say the the Tung-Sol KT-150's are better or that much different than the PrimaLune EL-34's. But in terms of looks, visually the KT-150's are beautiful - a masterpiece of audit art. Or "sexy" as Kevin said in his accurate and spot-on review.”
