“In my opinion these tubes have very clear and detailed mid to highs, yet a dramatic bottom end, very punchy on the bass side. These tubes put huge smiles on my ears, but you can never go wrong with tubes from Upscale Audio!”

“Not broken in yet and not a tube expert but seems to be big gains. Also, what I thought was a trade off of missing mids seem to be getting better the more hours they accumulate.”

“I replaced the stock EL34's in my PrimaLuna Dialogue Integrated with these tubes. I found they created a clinical, almost solid state sound. It wasn't bad sounding but it took away the "tube magic" I enjoy. IMO, these tubes are very detailed and dynamic but very neutral tonally and had me thinking I had replaced my amp with a solid state piece. YMMV.”

“Ordered a quartet of KT120's cryo treated for my PL Dialogue Premium amp. After a month I went back to stock EL34's. Better resolution, better sens of space, no glare at higher volume setting and bass is clean and fast. I'm not saying that KT120's are no good. What I'm saying is that for this application EL34's are better, at least to my ears. Don't think that PL amps have been designed to sound the best with KT120's. As Kevin has said in one of his videos, stock tubes are so good that they don't have to be replaced. And I agree with this. If I only heard this opinion before placing an order for KT120's.”
