It's a fantastic subwoofer, the down side is I could never get any help from upscale or rel on how to get rid of the hum when trying to us it with my Decware SE84UFO2. I tried everything on the Decware forums with no result. Upscale said to use a jumper that I could buy on Amazon but could'nt tell me what it was. After contacting REL by phone and email I got no response for eight days so I sold it to a friend, the next day I got an email from REL sugesting things that I had already tried. I still have my T9X that I use with my 300b and I love that sub.

Great subwoofer and powerful enough to pressurize a small room. Highly recommend this subwoofer.

I absolutely in love with my Rel TZero! It doesn’t blow the walls off but that was not my intention. I love the high level connection! I hook it up to my center channel speaker. I highly recommend!

Wow! This little beast really helped to even out my listening room! The bottom end it provides is seamless and not at all boomy. Really helps my Harbeth Super HL5 Plus XD’s shine. Connecting to the McIntosh MC452 was a tad problematic because it’s quad balanced. But REL provides excellent videos that helped immensely. The REL may be small in size but great things come in small packages! Lol Upscale Audio is as always a top notch, highly recommended Dealer! Thank you!

This is by far the best upgrade I've done to my system so far. I have a pair of Dynaudio Excite x14 bookshelf speakers, which sound great on their own. When I plugged in the sub and got it all configured, the difference was amazing. Music sounds much fuller, and is a more fun listening experience. When listening to EDM music, the bass sounds amazing and you can feel it (all though you can tweak the volume and crossover as much as you want, based on your room). I don't even hear the sub, it just sounds like my speakers can produce more bass. For anyone that has not set up a REL sub before, it's important to research the connectivity before you just go and connect it to your amp. The high-level input sounds great (all though that's the only one I've tried), and each amplifier type has a different setup. So it's important to research it a bit before you just connect the wires. For example, if you're running monoblocks, you might need two subs in stereo. Or if you're using a class-D amp, the way you attach ground might be different. Do some searches - there are articles and videos for setting up each type of amp configuration you have. I highly recommend getting a Subwoofer, and this is a great option at a super reasonable price. I always thought my bookshelf speakers on their own were sufficient, but now I can't go back. I can also recommend buying from Upscale Audio - the service was fast and amazing. I'm not sure if this is standard, but upscale audio also provided me with instructions on how to position speakers, which was super helpful.

I've had this Tzero in my system for a few weeks, using the high level input, and I am stunned by how much grunt this deceptively small unit pounds out. REL is magic; this thing is fast, deep, and very musical - not just a cheap thumper like some other subs. Because it is so small, people who have stepped in to listen to my home office setup assume it must be coming from the speakers - though such depth would be impossible on my bookshelf units (RP600s with upgraded internals). Insane bang for the buck! I would note that I do get a low hum when they are powered but not playing music, which I attribute to the fact that they are connected high level to a modest tube amp. This is no big deal, and it doesn't happen when they are attached to my solid state unit.
