Great little amp at 1k or even better below that, not sure about 1.5k however, as there are some more full options out there tbh. Unless you really want a tub sound or want the specific dac onboard which i believe is a burson brown. There's some debate on whether the output stage is class D or Class a/b. I think its class a/b as that low of power doesn't make sense at this price range with class D. Its also lacking in the input selection as the M2si from MF has more inputs, built in phono, and more power. If you can find this for 1k and under its a steal and recommend for a small setup.

Vincent SV-200 Amp: Purchased fall 2023 along with a pair of Klipsch Heresy IVs through Upscale Audio. The buying experience was easy and the salesperson, Sean, was knowledgeable and helpful. My purpose for this amp was to create a separate system for vinyl playback. My "other" 5.1 digital system is amazing already. The Klipsch Heresys do not need a lot of power; so, the SV-200's 25 watts per channel is perfect. Appreciate the modern connections as well (optical, coax, 2 RCAs). I run phono through the RCAs (Cambridge Audio Duo pre-amp) and digital CD music through coax. Both sound great. Also pushing two small subs through the pre-outs. Set at 60hz, the subs fill in just enough to round out the Heresy's already lush and articulate sonic bliss. A record out is, likewise, available. However, I have not used it yet. The SV-200 tube portion really smooths and warms the sound while the solid-state secondary amp pushes out super audio fidelity. New well-recorded vinyl in particular sounds amazingly clean. Plenty loud if that is your thing. No negatives at this point! Other than that, the silver unit looks professional, and the backlit tube window is fun to look at. The piece is solidly constructed. Looking forward to many years of usage.
