“I purchased a bat vk43se preamp from upscale audio I loved it so much I had to get the bat vk255se power amp these components are very clean and musical they make my kanta2 speakers sing. Kevin deal has been very generous along with his sales crew. Highly recommend upscale audio. Kevin is the jimmy page of high end audio sales.”

“I wanted to mention a couple of things I failed to write on my first Review submission. My speakers are rather inefficient. My previous amp did a respectable job driving them but I wanted a better sounding amp and one that would drive the speakers even better. I tried a well rated and reviewed tube amplifier (also from Upscale Audio). It sounded marvelous, sonically. However, it just did not make my speakers "hit" the way I was expecting. That's when Kevin stepped in and we discussed this BAT VK-255SE. It provides that tube-like sound I was looking for but also delivers it with an incredible and seemingly endless driving force. It performs absolutely without effort. The reserve power is seemingly endless and the ability to drive these most difficult speakers is effortless. Furthermore, the sound stage is very wide while the instrument placement and imaging is as deep as can be. It feels as if you could get up out of your chair and walk around the music. I am confident that my phono stage and cartridge play a role in that. But, if the amplifier could not also deliver those sonic merits then I would not realize their capacity. A system is always limited to its weakest component, to some degree. This BAT VK-255SE delivers everything there is to be heard, just the way it was recorded and meant to be heard. What a magnificent amplifier it is.”
