“I upgraded to Super Lintons from Revel Concerta 2 F35 I purchased with my front end electronics..NAD C658/NAD C298 from crutchfield. Couldn’t get the right sound so I bought a used Classe C151 amp, and pulled out my old B&k ST 1400 M2. Both sounded so much more warm and pleasing. It just sounded better maybe not as analytical just sounds more like music. Looking for a good phono pre ? I have a Dennon DP-300n waiting for soundsmith to re-tip my DL-103R. Thanks great shipping and I’m keeping the Lintons!”

“The science of sound is considered objective, but the perception of sound is not. I have been to music listening get-togethers with people whose tastes are far more expensive than mine, and I often leave wondering if there is something amiss with my hearing. At one house, there are single components that cost more than a vehicle, which leads me to my conclusion: I am thoroughly happy and so is my wallet for having purchased the Super Lintons. My previous setup for a 200 sq ft den was a pair of KEF LS50 active/gen 1. I liked them, but I felt they were not enough for this room size. These speakers are exactly what I wanted for this space. These are my first pair of three-way speakers. I prefer this type of speaker style to other kinds (coaxial, horn, etc.). For me the sound is spacious and smooth. My music preference is classical, vocal, 70s-80s, and alt-rock. Ultimately what’s unbelievable is that these speakers are currently being powered by an old and relatively inexpensive NAD D 3020 v 1 (from 10 years ago). In my opinion, there is sufficient bass and detail with this combination. I will definitely get a new amplifier after doing some more research, but the current setup is already stunning. My experience at Upscale was also quite serendipitous. It occurred during the last week of December 2024, and they had just opened up a pair for auditioning. I had read reviews but nothing beats the opportunity to sit in a room listening to favorite tracks for an hour and half. I am grateful for the opportunity to do so and for Jordan and Daelen’s patience as I contemplated purchasing the speakers. I was able to fit the speakers and stands in a sedan by collapsing the rear seats, as I was eager to set them up rather than wait to get them delivered. Thank you, Upscale.”
