What a fantastic jacket!. I've always had an International Barbour in my wardrobe, so I was really pleased they now do this iconic bit of tailoring with with CE approved armour. And with the full arms quilted inlay for winter riding, and a few other refinements to boot, it also feels like great value.

An excellent jacket that fits way better than my last and well worth the money. Typical Barbour quality and seriously warm with the liner in. The only negative I can think of is I'm a medium in most things and this jacket is probably just a touch longer in the arms than im used to.

I am very pleased with the jacket especially since Barbour has made it into a true motorcycle jacket with provision for armor and an added waterproof layer. I like the stiff belt with the reflective strip. It allows one to ride on warmer days with the jacket unzipped but kept from flapping in the breeze by the belt. I'll move the armor from one of my other motorcycle jackets when I use it for riding. Otherwise it is a great general purpose waterproof jacket with style. When wearing it as a cold weather jacket off the bike, I may employ a fleece zip up hoodie under it rather than the quilted liner so as to provide more neck and head protection. I was also very pleased with how fast it arrived here in the USA. I ordered it on a Friday and received it the following Tuesday afternoon. If I make it back to London (I was there in July, 2014) I'll look you up.

Fantastic coat. Very happy with it. Fairly warm. As stated other places, the arm-holes can be a little tight with the shoulder armor and liner in, but no issues without liner. And I haven‰غھt noticed the tightness when on the bike. I am 6‰غھ0‰غ‌, 150#, and have long arms. Medium fits perfectly. Can‰غھt say enough how pleased I am with UrbanRider. Ordered on a Thursday (in the U.S), and it arrived Monday. Great service. Will certainly order from them again.

Ordered the Black International Bike Jacket on Monday and I received the jacket here in N . Ireland on Wednesday morning all the while I was kept informed by Urban Riders service provider. The jacket is fantastic, the service that I received from Edward via email and phone was exceptional, friendly, and most accommodating. I would highly recommend ordering from Urban Rider and I hope to do business again in the future.

This jacket is truly worth the purchase! I had this shipped here to the US, along with the black International Bike Jacket. They provide good protection, water resistance, and warmth. I got caught in a downpour and the Barbour kept me completely dry and warm while shedding the rain with ease. The quilted liner is substantial, and it keeps me warmer than the liner in the Belstaff Tourist Trophy. My only criticism that prevents this from being 5 stars is that Barbour cut the armholes a little close to the chest and put very slight narrow shoulders on the jacket, causing slight pressure at the chest and armpit area. Not uncomfortable but would've been nice to get some extra room. It's only noticeable with the liner in, as the liner also goes down the arms. Without the liner, the jacket fits quite a bit looser which is fine with me. But in the end it's up to the rider on what their preference is. For reference, I am 6'2" - 195lbs with an athletic build and I take the XL in this. I could've gotten away with an XXL, but it would've been a bit loose in the chest and sloppy looking without the liner. This jacket is a winner in my book, and I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Now only if Urban Rider would sell the matching pants!
