“Haven’t installed on the car but giving it four stars due to quality control from the manufacturer. Item came with paint defects and a chip of paint out of the front lower side of the cover. Also around the seal there’s imperfections in the casting. All in all won’t affect the functionality of the cover…just not perfect. Got it on sale so I guess for price point it isn’t the worst to deal with.”

“The work to change the rubber gasket is the same to replace the whole cheap plastic upper timing chain cover. I removed the black coating just for the pure look of aluminum in the engine bay. Perfect fit a little bit tricky to install. Most videos complain about the 2 lower bolts (see pic/red circle), but not too bad. My advice, remove the dipstick sleeve completely, way easier to get the cover in and out. On another note, the logo on the packaging looks like MAHLE Germany, but it IMALE made in Asia, but the quality and fitment are flawless.”
