“Good quality parts… but unfortunatey wasn’t able to created a good seal with the mk7/mqb steel oil pan conversion and my car is continuing to leak. I’m planning to remove the oil pan and try again. I wish I would have done more research before the install to know how to best use the RTV silicone. Now I need to order another tube…”

“I just installed the oil pan on my 2017 GTI. Everything went in fine with the supplies hardware for install. The issue that I have is the oil drain plug. No matter how tight i make it, it constantly leaks so the entire job was a waste. It started leaking even before I started the car after install. I am assuming a manufacturer error in either the pan or the plug/washer for sure...very frustrated.”
