“Great addition to my 2013 Tig. I felt as I needed to adjust the deflector mounts but other than that I stoked. Divert valve screams a little but not a problem for me.”

“Unitronic did a great job with this intake and install kit! Im an experienced automotive technician. This is actually my first time buying parts like this for my own vehicle surprisingly. I used to install cold air intakes at the dealership on Camaros all the time and let me say this Unitronic kit blew those "OEM upgrade kits" out of the water. The fact that it easily just went together was a relief. Im new to the Volkswagen scene and have to say that Unitronic has made an amazing impression on me. My only complaint I had for this intake was that after installing it. From about 4500 rpm and up you can hear this harmonic "hum" noise. After searching the forums I found that this is actually a common problem with almost all after market intakes. The fix was to replace the diverter valve. I decided to buy the fast bits dv + and the Unitronic diverter valve relocation as well all from Urotuning. It immediately got rid of the noise. With all 3 of these mods I can honestly say (from a technicians mindset) there is in fact a noticeable change in pedal response, engine tone, and power. (Not a crazy amount) I chose this intake because of the forums saying how well the install was designed to fit like factory. They were correct. Do yourself a favor and buy this intake. You'll love it!”

“Very good product! I had a 3” down pipe with a stock air box. It was running really rich/lean and it smelled really bad. This fixed the smell AND I increased about 2.5 mpg. Easy to install. Also sounds amazing!”
