Hi Steve. Thanks for taking the time to review this product. Did you happen to try and tighten the nut on the bottom of the pivot point? There's a tension spring that can be tightened to adjust the desired amount of resistance. Best Regards, Jon UTV HQ

“Installed mirrors on 2020 Ranger 1000. They fit perfectly. Instructions were excellent and gave 2 different options for mounting, vertical or horizontal. Good product.”
