“It is a distinctive design and the first thing I noticed is the freedom It gave me, to move my arms under the cover or out over it. It felt nice and warm and a little bit like my duvet at home with no restrictive zip to do up or undo. I did notice the down feathers bunching up in some of the tubed material and I have had to shake it, to space it more evenly several times.
It is surprising how fast it expands when out of the stuff sack and a few shakes helps this. I have used it one time on a UK wild camp with temperatures down to 8C .”
