“Looks nice and modern, not the best quality but for the price it does the job. I am glad I did not pay full price for this item. Had to contact customer service as item arrived without lamp and they sent out a replacement the next day. Quick delivery.”

“Really good light, looks as good as the ones in highstreet stores and half the price. It looks to have the same quality and appears sturdy. I wasn't expecting the lampshade to come flatpacked (Maybe I didn't read the description properly) and my only grumble is theirs two seems on the lampshade so hard to situate it without one of them being seen. Otherwise a great light at a great price.”

“I think “you get what you pay for” sums up this lamp. Looks really nice in the photos but, on closer inspection is quite flimsy and I certainly was not expecting to have to make the lampshade myself using Velcro strips (which you can see now that it is assembled) - looks a bit cheap. Is quite wobbly, I think due to the metal parts being cheap and flimsy. The shade also arrived with an obvious mark on it and a crease which I thought might go away once I assembled the shade, but it did not and so I am stuck not being able to position the lamp so you can’t see the Velcro joins, because then you would see the crease and/or the mark. Just cannot be bothered with sending it back as I’m too busy. Anyway, it will do the job for now but I’d say if you can spend a further £80 get the tripod lamp from John Lewis as the reviews say it’s good quality. Hard to hide the black cord too. Would have been a nice touch if there were hooks along one of the legs which tucked it away.”
