The Vedder Holsters Pocket Locker® is great for concealed carry of small sized pocket pistols in the front pocket of your pants- great for those that do not wish to carry around the waistline. Fully adjustable retention allows you to set your preference of tight, loose, or somewhere-in-between retention. The Pocket Locker® features three possible ways to draw. First, when drawing your firearm from your pocket, the hook catches on the corner of your pants pocket and the firearm is drawn, free from the holster. Second, it is great for those that want a secure and custom holster for their carry bag or purse as the holster comes standard with eyelet hardware which can be used to attach paracord to the interior of your bag for snatch style un-holstering. Third, an optional thumb tab that allows you to un-holster your gun with a simple thumb press. Each holster is custom molded from Kydex® to your unique gun model ensuring a perfect fit. It also comes with a full sweat guard. Sweat guards cover both sides of the entire slide of your pistol reducing its contact with moisture from your body.

Current listed holsters are ideal for front pocket carry in most standard mens jeans. To test if the holster will work for you in pocket carry, we recommend trying to put your unloaded and safety checked gun in your pocket to get an idea if pocket carry is for you. If your gun fits comfortably in your pocket, then you will have a good idea if the holster will fit in your pocket as well.

I purchased the Pocket Locker and initially loved it. It is relatively comfortable in the pocket for being kydex and did a great job keeping my gun secure. After carrying it for several months however, I noticed that my pistol had become looser inside. This problem continued to get worse until it lacked the retention necessary to turn the gun upside down without it falling out. Since there was no screw to increase the tension I'm pretty bummed. Overall, it's a good pocket holster but I no longer feel 100% confident in carrying it. **VH COMMENT** Thank you for taking the time to review your experience. The PocketLocker holster is an all Kydex holster and should not loosen up over time. We are more than happy take a further look into this for you, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

The pocket holster is my latest and a really do love to pocket carry for my secondary!! Yes, I carry a backup!! Vedder’s IWB holster for my primary, but I’m truly in love with my Pocket holster!!!!

The Pocket Locker is an amazing holster. I purchased it for my Hellcat and I love it. It doesn’t print and I don’t even know my firearm is in my pocket half the time. It was worth the wait!!!

I love my Vedder Pocket Locker for my LCP Custom. It is one of the best options for pocket carry, but it does print more than necessary. To alleviate this the holster could be flat on the outward-facing side and molded for fit/retention on the leg-facing side. Some custom manufacturers have done this and I would love to see Vedder incorporate it.

If you buy this holster don't just try it a few times the day you buy it. The retention can be a bit thick and needs to be worn in a bit. Having the retention as tight as it is from the manufacturer can make it stick to the pistol to well like even after drawing. After probably 30-50 times drawing with it the retention is a little looser so you can use it and not bring it out with the gun on draw. I've been using this holster for a couple of months now with my hellcat and absolutely like it. It is easy to just put in the pocket and go. I have lots of experience with many quality kydex holsters and this one is definitely a quality one. I absolutely recommend removing the holster from the pocket for reholster it is worth the extra bit of safety. The only thing I would say the holster could use is something to break up the outline of the gun. It pushes the pistol right up against my pocket and you can easily see that there is a pistol in my pocket. Something like the DeSantis Superfly design but I'm not sure if that's possible with kydex or this holster design.
