“Ordered van slam coilovers on the Thursday 1:30pm and they were with me the next day by 11:30 am . Installed at my local garage, they said that they were easy to install as some coilovers can be a pain and these ones feel quality. Instantly feel the difference when driving compared with the old basic coilovers . So it’s 5 stars for the van slams and 5 stars for Vee Dub transporters.”

“This kit has been fitted for around 5 days now and I have done around 300 miles since. My objective was to slightly lower and level out my T5.1 which was a little too high at the front. I was concerned that a lowering kit would take it too far down, but reassuringly it allowed me to achieve pretty much the amount I was happy with (minimum height adjustment). I use the van for work. Although I didn't fit the suspension (I used my friendly local mechanic) we were uncertain of what the absolute minimum level was, for safety (minimum level meaning the least amount lowering). The mechanic aired on the side of caution to make sure we weren't higher than the product was designed for but it would be nice to know exactly what the upper end actually is. The instructions weren't overly comprehensive and I know doing my self would have resulted on s major anxiety trip... The suspension struts and shocks all looked really good quality and finished well. The driving experience is great. The ride is firm without being harsh (I'm running 20" wheels with very low profile tyres). Handling has improved markedly. Oh, and it looks great! So far I am really pleased with the 5 Forty Van/Slam Coilover Kit.”
