“Delighted with the Dark Team Heko deflectors and the prompt efficient service..... I studied several You Tube vids to ensure I fitted them correctly but was confused by the conflicting instruction on which way to position the clips...... meaning, face barb on clip to the inside of van or to outside..... it seems its 50:50. Anyway I went 'facing the inside' and the HEKO's are secure and I am pleased with both functionality and aesthetics.”

“Deflectors arrived very soon after ordering: huge box arrived on doorstep with safely packed deflectors inside. Having watched several How-To videos of the fitment of Heko Deflectors, I was not phased by what appears to be a simple task. And it was simple. Wind down windows Clean areas with soft microfibre cloth (which I had dipped in alcohol cleaner) Remove self-adhesive backing tape Starting at mirror end of window aperture, I slotted the deflector into the window slot, bending gently as I approached the top and watched it click into place. A locking tab was inserted (taking care to ensure it was the right way round) and pushed securely into place (mirror end) with a thick steel rule (better than using a screwdriver, I thought). The process was repeated at the top of the door. I wound the window glass up and down a few times to ensure that the deflector and the tabs were secure and not fouling the glass. Passenger door complete, I repeated the whole process with the driver's door. From opening the cardboard packing to putting my tools away took less than 30 minutes. Really, what could be simpler? A few hours later, I took the van for a run and drove with windows closed, then open a crack, then fully open to see what the noise difference was like after fitting the deflectors. Quite pleased with the result. Would like to report how good they are for night-time ventilation after sleeping in the van, sadly I can't as Covid Restrictions prevent us from touring or making unnecessary journeys and my driveway is sloped so sleeping outside the house is not on either. What I can say is that the deflectors look great on the van, I love the fact that they are tinted because it hides the fact that the window may be open a crack and they look ace. Quality appears to be excellent (ask me again in 12 months and I hope to say the same). Can thoroughly recommend these additions for my VW T6.1 Transporter Campervan. Thank you to all at VeeDub Transporters who continue to make my van better.”

“Deflectors are great but they really need 3 or 4 clips per side to hold in place as I followed instructions and there is too much movement of the deflectors. Can I get another 4 if possible? Otherwise they would be perfect.”

“Easy enough to fit, hassle free, only took a few minutes, look very neat on the van, matching the darkened side windows and have quite a low profile. Not driven with them much as yet or on motorway due to lockdown, but I think they should keep the rain out with the windows wound down an inch or so and so reduce condensation when sleeping in the van, v happy so far with this purchase”
