“Not great - unit broke before I’d even fully done up the screws. Luckily I used the rear part of the original light unit to make it right, but if you don’t have that I wouldn’t bother with this. Just pay the money for the original part as this one is poorly made.9”

“Very poor quality, captive nuts broke as soon as I tightened the screws and then couldn't get the screws out! The lens did fit the VW light housing, so it has cost me £26 for a cheap piece of plastic that will probably not last.”

“Each product I have bought from this company has been poor, I have it one more chance as I desperately needed a high level brake light for my T5.1, it turned up broken. So that’s it for me, fingers been burnt too many times.”

I have taken a look in our system and I can only see a couple of issues, one being that your Heko Wind Defector was damaged in transit and we issued you a replacement for this item and the issue with the High Level Rear Brake Light to which we are currently investigating. I can see that you have been refunded for this item. Here at Vee Dub Transporters we do everything where possible to help our customers, something we pride ourselves on. “Cheap rubbish. Brittle plastic and the bits the screws go into aren't held firmly enough so 2 broke which meant I couldn't unscrew them either and had to force the thing out. Seal was flimsy foam. Returned for a refund.”

“Superficially looks the same as the original part. But, I couldn't get it to tighten down to the bodywork. In attempting to do so, I overtightened the screws in the plastic captive nuts, so they twisted in their holders and became damaged. I eventually managed to remove it again and closer inspection revealed that the captive nut posts are about 1mm longer than standard. Fortunately, my original light still worked, it was just the gasket and red lens that had deteriorated, so I was able to use the OEM electronics with the new outer plastic parts to make a good lamp. I couldn't return the part, as I had damaged it trying to make it fit. Anyway, I needed it working for MOT and the old one was not secure any more, due to age and U/V degrading the plastic.”

“Where to start it’s quite cheap quality I removed the Vw unit really easy and replaced yours the second I tried to screw it back together the retaining sliding fixtures broke at a couple of turns no problem I just used my old ones from my old unit 35 minutes of my time I will never get back I read about quality of eBay ones and this is almost twice the price I couldn’t recommend this to anyone”
