“My favourite part of this experience was the people and their amazing knowledge and assistance (thank you Pam)!!! The vegepod is perfect so far. It took about 30 minutes to set it up and another 30 to get it ready and planted (with seeds). My youngest son saw it and was inspired to start gardening at his house - which is awesome!!! I’ve already harvested some mizuna and leaves. Fabulous.”
“It is so easy! Set up and filling took some effort but planting and growing is a dream - my plants seem to spring up taller even overnight because of the microclimate, and they are safe from beasties under their cover. The photo is after 6 weeks of planting seeds directly into the pod - incredible! Can't wait to buy another!”
“How easy was the set up of the pods and trolley, I’ve planted cos lettuce, parsley, mint and some broccoli they’ve been in just under 3 weeks and thriving crops should be ready in about another 3 weeks.
Highly recommend the product and Vegi Pod company”
“A little fiddly to put together but once up and running, so much fun! Love the flexibility to move it around (trolley) to protect it from the wild weather we’ve had lately. It will also help when needing to chase the winter sun. Overall a good product but I find the plastic netting a little flimsy. Only two weeks in and seeing some good results.”
“Disapointed overall.

1/ The size is great and the idea is a good one however the irrigation doesn't cover the full range of the soil and the canopy lets SO many bugs in, it seems rather useless. Within a weeks of my seeds sprouting, the pod is inundated with snails and white bugs eating up all my leaves. The only thing the standard cover protects is the bugs from the birds.
I also purchased the hothouse cover and tried this instead of the breathable standard cover and it didn't deter pests at all. There is a uniform gap around the bottom of the cover that allows small critters in.
2/ For the cost charged for the set-up, I was bitterly disappointed in the amount of self-building that was required. Not to mention the instructions have been written by someone whom is likely familiar with the structural components and not the ''average'' person looking for an informative step-by-step process. When you spend this amount of money, you shouldn't get black and white images with ill-definition and also be required to watch you-tube videos.
3/ The self-watering technology may work for established plants however it fails to assist whilst plants are young. There is also no way of emptying the reservoirs once they are full. I followed the instructions in regards to setting up timers for watering and within the first week the reservoirs are full and continuously leak from two points (NOTE: I have reset my timer to 2 x 1 minute mists a day and this has not improved the leaking). As I have the pod on my deck, I now need to sit containers under these points to capture the overflow so the deck doesn't rot, these containers need to be emptied once a day.
Overall the idea of this concept is a good one, however the execution leaves alot to be desired and I believe my old standard self built raised garden bed saved a lot of money and a hell of a lot of time.”
“Very happy with our medium starter pack with trolley. Deliver was quick and well packed. Assembly was easy, especially with the detailed You Tube clips. I added two worm farms, so we are using kitchen waste plus fresh vegies every day. Attached photo is after 3 weeks (planted small seedlings)”
