Loving my RAX so far! Works great for my gravel bike, my wife’s 29er MTB, my 27.5 MTB and my daughter’s 24” MTB in any combination of 3. Love the extra space between bikes for different styles of bars.

I was hesitant to spend the money on the VelociRAX, although I thought it seemed like a neat rack. I’ve had it for about a year now, and I really cannot overstate how well-built it is, and how easy it is to load and unload bikes. It is a little bit heavy getting it in the hitch, but you can’t have well-built and lightweight. I would very highly recommend this rack. I do wish that they gave you an option for what sized tire baskets you got, as I had to get a whole set of smaller baskets just for one for my daughter’s bike. And I also wish they made a light kit for the 3X, but I’m just nitpicking because the there’s nothing to complain about with the rack itself! Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and spend the money, you won’t regret it.

Love the sturdy build quality, the ease to put bikes on the rack and quickly secure.

Lift is great and I can get into the back of my sprinter van when bikes are in the down position. Bikes are super secure and I love that the only contact points are the tires. So much easier to load than my 1up and Kuat racks (Still use those if I'm only bringing 1 bike not 3). Also bought the wheeled stand and keep three bikes loaded on it in my garage. How many bikes does one need = n+1.

The only negative was I needed to add a 7" extension so the rear doors on my Ford 250 Transit conversion could both be opened with the rack laid down. Saving me a lot of work. Using the rack folded down and as a bike rack, works great for me as we have a Moon canopy off the back. Very rigid mount, bikes travel very well with a rear profile narrower and extend less than other 4 bike racks. I only install straps for the number of bikes transported, to extend the life of rubber. Strongly recommend it and would purchase it again!

Best rack I have had

We have used this rack everyday for several months behind a 30 foot RV. It is excellent, easy to use, solid and stable even with all the gravel road dispersed camping we do. We had to buy separate bike covers which was disappointing, hope VELOCIRAX could supply have their own covers in the future, these are really necessary.

The rack weighs a ton! It really makes me wonder if I am going to keep it or not. Feature-wise, it is great. I like that it currently is mounted to my garage wall and I have 2 bikes hanging that otherwise I'd have taking up double the floor space. But, Jesus! It is going to be unwieldly getting it back in my towing mount.

Our racks are 100% steel constructed to stand the test of time and confidently carry a heavy load. This keeps bikes, vehicles, and the rack safe for adventurous travels. We understand that steel can be difficult to maneuver, so we are sorry this has been an issue for you. We really appreciate your feedback and your willingness to share your experience! Let us know if you have any other concerns or if you would like some tips for moving your rack!
