“With four kids, all with bikes, storage and transport was difficult. Our VelociRAX allows us to easily take all six bikes, but the garage storage is a winter lifesaver.”

“Absolutely incredible rack !! We had a high end platform rack fall off and destroy 4 bikes … so we went with this rack as replacement. I am highly impressed and the construction is great ! Assembly was straight forward and simple . If I had a complaint it would be the weight .. but you can’t have a strong superior rack without either extreme cost or a little extra weight . Great job Velocirax!!!”

“We love it! Put it to immediate use with a road trip to Vermont. Got lots of inquiries and noted that the rack was the subject of lots of picture-taking by passing motorists. With six mountain bikers in the family, the VelociRax 6 is essential.”

“Have had this rack for several months now - with dozens of trips with 2-6 bikes on board, and I'm very happy with this. Loading/unloading bikes is great - my pre-teen kids can do it on their own. And once loaded everything is really secure - no wobbling or bouncing from the hitch or the bike-mounts themselves. We combine mountain bikes with gravel and cyclocross bikes, and the curly bars do interfere a bit (as noted in the product description), but with 6 total spaces, I can arrange things and leave one empty and still get everything on board that we need to. Very happy with it. Leaving off one star because the lever that allows you to tip the rack for loading/unloading can be hard to engage - it kind of gets "stuck". It just needs to be pulled a little harder, but can be challenging if you're not tall enough to get good leverage. It's a minor point (but worth future improvement!). Great rack overall - definitely recommend.”

We like to pull the rack from behind to release a little bit of the pressure on the release lever. If weight is not released from the center post, it may be difficult to pull the lever down.
