“Unfortunately not one of these liquid chalks worked for us. Something is definitely missing. Not sure if they are dried out, We did not even bother to open all of them. The ones that we opened did not work at all. Would be happy to return them if we did not have to pay for shipment.”
Dear Dorna
Thanks for your honest review. We do take them seriously as they help us improve our services. I am really sorry that the markers didn't quite turn our as you expected. I would also just like to make sure that you pumped the markers before initial use as that is how you get the ink flowing. If you are willing to give it another shot, I'd be more than happy to assist you. Please contact me at info@versachalk.com together with a link to this review so I know it's you!
Cheers,
April
“These markers are amazing! I have 3 kids and 2 of which, I am teaching basic math and letters to, so being able to write on my mirrors and windows is awesome! My children love picking colors and writing with them, so I have been able to use them as a learning tool.
Available in a pack of 8 assorted colors, each color writes vibrantly and easily shows up on your writing surface. Plus, they are extremely easy to wipe off, so that is an added plus, Also, these markers seem to have a lot of chalk in because they never seem to run out, so they are well worth the money.
These markers are great for teaching, crafting or Just Getting Married signs!”
“I love the comfortable feel in my hand while writing with them and that they glide well across the writing surface. Was drawn to them because they had a nice variety of both bold and pastel colors. Though I am usually partial to the pastel colors I have to say my hands kept gravitating to the bolder colors.”
“They remind me of paint pens, only without the strong fumes, and they write smoother. One thing that I am impressed with is how true the colors are. The color of the chalk is about as close as you can get to the color of the caps. So far, I've used them on glass, plastic, a black board, skin, a dry erase board, and art paper. I was pleased with how well they wrote on all of them. They even write on surfaces that permanent marker ink beads up on.
It does take a little effort to get the chalk flowing the first time you use them, but that is expected. I haven't had any problems with leaking or caking.
You need a damp cloth to wipe it off. But I like that there is no chalk dust or eraser dust from dry erase markers to deal with.”
“I have tired quite a few chalk markers and they all take a very long time to get going. These seem a little faster to prep. You push down the tip and then give them a good shake. Then put the tip down and paper and hold it down about 30 seconds until the ink starts flowing! These chalk pens create beautiful colors. I especially loved the pink one! These write great on mirrors and I love writing my husband sweet notes or to do list on the mirror! Then he can't claim he did see it. I'm sure I will find many more uses for them!”
