“I'm truly impressed with the quality of these labels. As you can see from the photo, I'm using them in my pantry to label jars, and I think they make the jars much more attractive, as well as ensuring that nobody in the house mistakes the salt for the sugar. I love the old-fashioned quality to these labels.
The labels themselves are anything but flimsy. They're easy to handle and adhere, and also easy to reposition. I've not noticed them leaving any residue. While they do take regular chalk, the results there are iffy (Most chalkboard surfaces don't seem to work well with chalk these days. I find that frustrating.) You'd do better to use chalkboard markers with them for a nice, solid-looking line that's easy to read. VersaChalk makes a very nice set of them”
“Biggest problem I have with these is finding enough things to use them on (you do get 42). These go easy on, easy off. So far, there's no hint that they'll fall off (some reports indicate not even in the dish washer. Trivial to move and place just like you want them.
You can also wipe off the liquid chalk with a damp cloth and write different text. I'm using them with this company's Liquid Chalk Markers and the effect is very retro. Nifty little product.”
