Self Adhesive Chalkboard Contact Paper - 18" x 96" Roll Reviews

This Versa Chalk Chalkboard Contact Paper is perfect for our garage wall. We allowed our toddler son to draw on the wall last year and it's since been completely covered with his doodling. While I didn't cover up all of his drawings, I did apply this contact paper to one side so he can continue to enjoy drawing on the wall and know we can wipe it clean and continue to use it instead of running out of drawing space. Had I known chalkboard contact paper existed back then I probably would have applied it then. This contact paper was easy to apply. I actually cut mine into 4 different sections to make it easier for me to apply. I used a piece of my son's wooden train track to help smooth the bubbles and press it on neatly. I didn't have any issues of air pockets although if I did the directions said to poke the bubble with a pin and flatten it out. Sounded easy enough although if you go slow and take your time it is possible to go on perfectly. My son got right to work drawing on it to test it out and he approved so for that this chalkboard contact paper is getting 5 stars out of 5.

Just received my Chalkboard Contact Paper with a bonus Marker by VersaChalk. So impressed with the quality of this strong durable vinyl. It's 96" X 18". So many things I can do with this Chalkboard Contact Paper.... In a Child's Room, Labels, Organization Chart and so much more! I have purchased items by VersaChalk before and was happy with my purchases.

I Love this contact paper. I will definitely be purchasing more. I use it to make labels for my canisters in my kitchen. It comes with a Paint marker that works WELL. What i love the most is that they don't skimp on the contact paper. you get a nice size roll. I'm DEFINITELY repurchasing to complete my DIY crafting projects.

This was a dangerous purchase for me! I'm turning everything into a chalkboard surface! Haha! This arrived yesterday, in a sturdy box,so it wasn't wrinkled or pinched. Packaging is a lost art form, believe me! The roll seems kinda plasticy. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it's thicker (and sturdier) than I imagined. It has the graph lines on the back side as most contact papers do, making it very easy to cut. I used my everyday scissors for cutting and found using an exacto knife made a nicer straight edge with this material. It seems to stick well, but being that toddler hands are always helping, it was easy to pull off and straighten out too. I recently purchased some liquid chalk markers that work beautifully on this paper. I've gone crazy with this stuff. I've made a message center, chore list, jar labels, drawer labels, storage box labels, bedtime/morning list for my kids rooms, inside cabinets, and a few other things! Having this on a roll is perfect for using it in soooo many different sizes, styles and shapes. It can be expensive to purchase labels in all necessary sizes for things. This is a grand idea! Being that I still have half a roll left, this will last quite a while. I'm very pleased to have received the opportunity to try this at a discount. It's going in my arsenal of awesome things to stay stocked up with!

As long as you have a cutting board or sharp pair of scissors, this is pretty easy to cut to your specific dimensions/needs. With 8 feet by 18 inches, you will probably want to cut this paper at least once (unless it is your new wallpaper). The backing has grids and measurements to keep you on task. If you plan to use as labels, you might be better off with some pre-cut ones. This company has a couple to choose from Funky Designs and Round. They suggest you could use this for gift wrap - but that is a pretty expensive idea. One better idea - if you are crafty - is get a small, pre-cut, one-side sanded board from the hardware store (1/4 inch plywood. You can mount that to a wall with a couple screws then place paper over it. If you are really good with cutting (I am not), you can paint the board white, then make a nice calendar "with borders".

It is made of non-porous vinyl with an adhesive backing that is easy to apply and simple to remove from any clean flat surface. The smooth black surface allows writing on it with liquid chalk markers of various colors, which can be easily erased without leaving a messy chalk residue. May also use regular chalk, as well. A grid is printed on the peel-off paper backing with ½” grid lines, to facilitate trimming/cutting to needed size. At 8 ft x 1.5 ft, the VersaChalk sheet is enough for many projects. The uses of the VersaChalk is limited only by one’s imagination - labels, calendars, to-do lists, children’s artwork etc.

Absolutely love the product. It is durable and comes with a pen as well. I use it in my classroom for reminders and it has not peeled off the wall. I've also had no problem wiping the pen off. I cannot wait to use it in my home, as well. There is plenty of the contact paper so you will be able to divide it up as you please to use it in different places. The only thing I was not a fan of is (and this is minute, but something easily changed!) that the roll of paper was taped together so it wouldn't unravel. Overall, still a great product!

This chalkboard contact paper roll arrived on time and well packaged. I love it! I bought this to use for my Young Living Oil presentations and to label a board with oil types, ect. This roll can be used for anything and is great quality! Easy to attach and secure and I have even seen it used for wrapping small gifts which I plan to do this Christmas! Great product. I try to be selective with 5 stars and this deserves it.
