This is a real wallsaver in a house with kids. We have a 2 1/2 yo boy and an almost 6yo girl and they love colors and drawing. The little guy is a wild man and likes to run off with the colors, chalks, makrers, I've had to wash a few walls, but I am determined to tran him and be able to keep the art supplies out for my daughter. He is getting better. I already bought one roll of another brand of chalkboard contact paper and installed it vertically down the side of the fridge for us all to use, I get the top to write notes and lists, they get the bottom, but they use up their section pretty quick. In the playroom, there was just enough room below the windows to fit another roll of this stuff so I went ahead and we tried it out. It is great! First off, it is super easy and instantly gratifying vs. chalkboard paint. You don't have to paint and wait for the paint to dry! Once I decided whch spot to put it, I had it cut and stuck to the wall in under 5 minutes and my kid, who was watching over my shoulder wtih chalk in hand, was drawing. Its easy to cut thanks to the grid on the back, it sticks completely but its easy to position/ reposition if you need to, it is a nice dark high contrast black and looks great. And you can totally move it to another spot if you change your mind about where you want it. Also, the bonus white chalk marker that comes with this roll is a real full size marker. I like the gift wrap ideas they give you on the box too, if I didn't already know what I wanted to do with this whole roll, I would sure do that! Might have to buy another roll of this, I am definitely keeping it in mind. Great product all around.

This chalkboard wall paper is all new to me and Im having a lot of fun with it. I looked around and this was the one i choose. It came with a free chalk marker and the roll was 8 foot long. I have been cutting it into smaller pieces with the help of the lines on the back. I used some small pieces on my tupperware for leftovers and some bigger pieces for writing down groceries on the wall. It works great and its fun knowing that I can peel it off and put it somewhere else if I change my mind. Its easy to erase by just wiping it off with a wet paper towel and drying it with a paper towel. Im glad I have an eight foot roll of it :)

These comes with a ton of contact paper.I cut one large sheet that is about 4 feet long for my daughter to doodle on and the rest I am using for craft projects. So far, so good! It does come with one chalk marker that works really well, but it is a bit difficult to remove all residue. Also, regular chalk doesn't work quite as well on this paper as I expected. It shows up, but I have to apply pretty firm pressure-hence the reason for the reduced 4-star rating. Overall, it's perfect for my craft projects and I'm happy I made this purchase. I am going to get more chalk markers for it as they work much better than regular chalkboard chalk.

I bought the small circles and other shapes but I really love this. I first thought all you can do is put it on a wall or board but then I read you can cut it to any shape. Now its perfect for the back of jars I make with sauces ect. I can put the directions on how to use the product I premade. I can also put the recipe on the jars of premade brownies I mixed in jars and now had directions. The pen took some pumping to get it to work, but once the ink was flowing it was fine!

I have a space just behind my monitors in my office where I was constantly putting post-it's or taping things up to remind myself of stuff. I wanted to put a writing surface up like this so I tried another product. The other one I purchased didn't do the job. It didn't really stick to the wall too well but this one solved the problem. Plus the other one was much smaller but with this large roll I was able to cut it to the size I wanted instead of the one-size-fits-all sheet I previously purchased.

This is my first time owning and adhesive chalk board and I really think this is going to revolutionize my life. The material does feel made of quality vinyl and I really like the attention to deal the company has for their product. On the back where the adhesive are grid lines to help you with cutting so you can make the exact cut every time. I also like that they provide a free marker for you to try out for yourself. I was a bit confused when I received the marker, I did shake it a few times and nothing came out in the form of liquid chalk to write, I had to actually pump the chalk sponge before the "ink" came out and through the sponge. After that, I wrote a few things on the chalk to see how well it would hold up. I love how easily this wipes off as well, it wipes clean and doesn't leave any residue! Overall this product is fantastic. I love it!

This contact paper is awesome. I just finished using it to line the top of my desk and it worked perfectly. I like the idea of being able to write on my desktop whenever I need to remember something. I wasn't able to get the chalk marker to work very well, for some reason it wasn't very white. I have a lot of the roll left over to use in other places of the house. This contact paper seems very resilient and it was fairly easy to apply to my desktop.
