“I got these in Rhubarb and the color is just as pretty IRL as it appears online. These Boardwalk runners are quite comfy for everyday errands around town. I do not think they provide enough cushioning for walking great distances when sightseeing. Still glad I got them though!”
“I love the color, and the style. My only disappointment is that instead of going with my gut and ordering a 9, I listened to the reviews, and went with the recommended size of 8. My usual shoe size is 8.5, and I live in Winnipeg, so had to order online without trying them on. The website said to size down, and I even measured my foot as per the instructions and it “said” to order 8. The 8 fits, BUT, it is close. I definitely would have liked to have been able to try a 9. I have not worn them out of the house yet, but if they are like my other vessi’s, which are 100% waterproof, I am sure to like them for that reason. Unfortunately they were on sale, so I am stuck with them.”

I'm sorry to hear you have been experiencing discomfort at the back of your ankles from your shoes. Our ankle opening is a little firm to start, therefore you could experience some discomfort before it stretches out to perfectly accommodate your feet. I would definitely recommend giving your feet time to heal before giving your shoes a try again. Here are a few tips that can help once you start wearing your shoes again.
Wearing thicker socks that provide extra cushioning on that area will give the shoes time to adjust to your foot. Adding something to cover up that area will allow the shoes to adjust to your foot so they can fit you perfectly. Finally, another thing you can try doing is to insert a pair of heel liners into your Vessis for more cushioning. Heel stickers from Dr. Scholls can work really well too.
