“Overall, I’m quite satisfied. That being said, these aren’t my perfect pair of shoes. As a note, I purchased these as a longtime PNW resident who has to go in/outdoors all day, and was hoping a nice pair of semi-athletic waterproof shoes would also encourage me to walk/run more.
I had to size down one and a half sizes, which was unexpected. The return process was not a headache - I got my new shoes in a timely manner and there was no hassle with me having used a coupon on my original transaction.
I love the design and I love the laces. They are truly waterproof. They don’t cause my feet to overheat. They’re comfortable; the padding on the inside is pleasant and secure. Due to me sizing down, they are a little tighter than I would prefer now, but it beats being too big. My biggest problem is around the fit however, and even after sizing down I have the same problem. My heel slides in and out about an inch with every step. Maybe they aren’t broken in enough yet, but I doubt that as I’ve already worked, ran errands, and played basketball in them.
So I have my issues, but I do still enjoy them. I would recommend Vessi to a friend, but not before talking abiut my own experience.”

“I like that they are truly water proof. They came in handy during a storm. They also come in nice colors and look good. I wish they came in half sizes because a 7 is a bit tight and 8 is way too loose. The design makes the shoe look wide due to the placement of the laces. And the sole is not very flexible. I’d love to have a flexible sole like a true running shoe so that it’s not hard plastic flopping on water and flinging the water up.”
