“I mean, they're not magical or anything, right? But they do what they say they'll do. They keep the water out, and they're pretty warm. I usually wear some thick socks with mine. It took some time to get used to how the top part is a little wider than my ankle so that I could move my ankle back and forth and only kind of brush against it, but once I did, it was fine. I do wish that they offered half sizes, though. I bought my first pair of Vessi's in a size 11 and they were a little tight, so I bought these in a size 12 and they were a little big! Oh well. I guess them being a little big isn't so bad, and I do plan on continuing to wear them. They feel pretty good, and the insole is nice and solid.”
“So, I'm not really the type of guy who would normally review shoes. Sure I've reviewed some products on another web site that started out mainly selling books, but shoes? Well to be fair, I'm not a shoe guy. I usually wear boots, but I saw the Vessi ad on a YouTube Video (shoutout to Lazy Masquerade - keep up the great work BTW) and decided to look into them. The Stormburst a sort of high top and I prefer a low cut boot and I thought these shoes might be perfect to try. The reviews looked good. Almost too good. But the price? Ugh! I've never spend more on a pair of shoes, boots, or any footwear, than I did on these Stormburst shoes. Heck, I've never spent this much money on any piece of clothing, ever. I usually wear a size 11 to an 11.5, and ordered the 12 and crossed my fingers they'd fit. And they did. And they were super comfortable from the first moment I tried them on. The size is probably a micro fraction too big with the thinner socks I usually wear, but honestly, with heavier socks on, they are perfect. And in Ohio, heavier socks are often the norm anyway. I first wore them for a few hours while shopping, and holy cow are they comfortable. No issues at all, no blisters or pinch points, just like perfection. So with one day down, I donned them the next day for another trip out with a lot of walking around, and honestly they were even more comfortable the second day. I wouldn't say they were more "broken in" since I felt they had a zero break in period anyway, but they felt even better the second day, and from then on there was no looking back. Now, I've only had them about a week so I can't speak to durability, but right now am I satisfied with the amount I paid for a freaking pair of shoes? 100% yes. Totally worth it. In fact, I'm considering getting a second pair in another color!”
“My husband normally needs to wear a prosthetic brace to support his ankle and foot but these Vessis offer enough support so that he doesn't need his brace!!”
