“I love the fact that these slip on easily and keep my feet dry. However, but I have wide feet which means that I either have to go a size up whuch is way too big or stick with size 8, which kind of pinches. I wish they came in half sizes as well as size wide. My other issue with these shoes (hence the 4 star review which I have considered dropping to a 3 star is the fabric used on the tops of the shoes. After awhile, if you get them wet or just a bit sweaty, they rub on the back of your ankle, so you can't wear ankle socks. Otherwise, you get blisters. I actually had to buy special diabetic socks to wear with these shoes because regular socks cut into my legs with the elastics. So, that means instead of spending $250, I spent more like $280 due to having to get new socks. I wish the material at the top of the shoes wasn't scratchy and blister inducing. And the laces are round, so come untied all the time. I wish I could say I love these shoes, but for the cost and lack of the above things, this will most likely be my last pair.”
“I haven't tested the waterproofness as we have yet to receive some rain since I got the shoes. However, I already notice the difference between my new Stormburst and my old Cityscape. The Stormburst has a more robust sole so I don't feel rocks poking at my feet when I'm on gravel walking trails. Because it is a bit higher rise, I think it'll keep my feet and socks dry when walking our pup on rainy days. I've given it 4 stars because it's not as comfortable as my actual runners.”
“Holding up to hail, rain, manure, mud and walking through rivers. So far so good! Just wish they had a comfier insole but love that it's removable so you can add your own.”
“My Stormbursts are so comfortable and offer great foot support for my daily walks on uneven ground. The waterproof-ness makes my morning walk with the dogs through the long grass or snow extra comfortable. Dry feet when I get home!”
“These shoes are super comfortable right out of the box. I wore them on a 5km trail walk and they didn’t hurt my feet at all. The only con is that they aren’t the most breathable so not a great summer shoe. Perfect for 3/4 seasons or rainy summer days!”
“Super stylish and supportive. Good coverage to keep the rain out (they are 100% waterproof!). I also ended up wearing them on a long trail + minor hike and they stand up nicely to punishment as well, grip works okay for a city shoe.”
“I wore these shoes for the first time to hike The Little Beehive in Banff. I didn't even need to break them in. It was so comfortable from the start. Love that they're waterproof. The grip was good. Not sure if it will hold up like the cult classic Solomon hiking shoes, but so far I've got no complaints and would recommend!”
