“Right out of the box, I loved the style of the Vessi CityScape sneakers. The look is very sharp and modern, and the fit was perfect. It did take a couple of wears for me to really get comfortable in them, but once I did they felt *very* comfortable. I think it was a combination of the unique design (no tongue and a tight fit around the ankle to "keep your socks dry") and a little bit of a need to break them in, but after a couple of days I started to love them.
The only thing keeping my review from 5 stars is concerns about wear. Already the sole has a little wear around the toe, likely from me scuffing it, but it seems to show more than I would expect for a brand new show. Perhaps the material is a bit too soft.”

“Full disclosure, I just received my Vessi's and used them throughout a sunny weekend during some short hikes, city-wear, and casual biking.
I haven't been able to test the waterproofing of these shoes.
Overall, the shoes are extremely comfortable, fit like a glove, and very light. They are very comfortable to wear, and I have the feeling they get better once they are fully broken in.
My only caveats are it could use a little bit more arch support (I'm hoping this improves over time). I decided to go with the city-scapes as I liked the slimmer sole look compared to the wider, platform look of the original Vessis, but it seems this comes at the scarifice of arch support.”
“I had never bought shoes online before, and never liked the idea of buying shoes without trying them on. But VESSIs looked so good, I had to try them. I actually ordered 2 pairs and I love them both so much. And then a third pair for my partner. I’ll definitely be buying more, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming line of kids shoes!

“After two weeks of wearing my first pair of Vessi shoes (CityScape - charcoal grey), I’m happy to report that they’re as comfortable and functional as your promotional videos claim! Your online fitting recommendation was bang on - I’m normally a 9 1/2 wide, so your suggestion of a 10 was perfect! Plenty of room width-wise, while maintaining a proper fit for length.
Full disclosure - I’m 58 years old, with 5 knee surgeries and one hip surgery under my belt, so it is a small challenge to put the shoes on (the soft heel doesn’t play well with a shoe horn - my life saver(!) - so there is some bending and finger-pulling necessary to slip the shoe on), but once they’re on, they literally fit and feel as comfortable as a pair of socks. I definitely am looking forward to purchasing my next pair in the future!”
“This product delivers on just about everything it advertises, including being waterproof. However the sole insert of one of the shoes arrived bent up, and wont lie flat under the toe no matter what i try, leading to a distracting and irritating fit.”
