“I found Vessi because of a Youtube Ad. I normally ignore the ads, but I liked the look of the shoes and wanted light weight waterproof shoes to wear more often than my clunky waterproof Converse. Vessi's waterproof claim is real and very cool. Overall, I really like these shoes and have worn them almost every day since I bought them.
This shoe is really only for casual walking. I use them constantly at work and they are very comfortable, but this is not a running or hiking shoe at all. I've never worn a sock-shoe like this before, so I had to get used to my foot kind of slipping in the shoe. There are shoes laces that help make it feel more secure on my foot, but I had to find a sweet spot for the tightness because if I tightened the laces barely too much it hurt.
I followed Vessi's sizing chart, but ended up ordering a size that was a whole size too big. I returned them and received a smaller size very quickly. The exchange process was super quick and easy, so kudos Vessi. My only complaint would be the tread of the shoes. I walk on wood floors at work, and it feels like there isn't a lot of grip from the tread. There is some traction, but I would like the shoes even more if the tread had better grip.”
