“Shopping experience: I am blind, and your products are not very well described - relying on images doesn't help me and is not very inclusive. I needed sighted help to choose a style and colour. To that end, all your promo emails seem to rely on images, so I am basically cut out of the experience. Please provide proper descriptions. But the shoes I got are great! The fit is terrific and they are indeed waterproof. I did have trouble with the slippery laces always coming untied. I resorted to relacing, leaving the furthest holes unlaced so that I had enough lace to then make a double bow. That solved the problem. These shoes might work better with pull-up locking laces. Also, it might be a nice touch to include a shoe horn (with a Vessie logo on it) to help with getting them on. Also, the foot feedback is great. As a blind person, I gain a lot of info through tactile feedback under foot, and these shoes are thin enough to let me know the difference in surfaces - concrete, ashfalt, slopes, flat curbs, grass, dirt, etc. - all very important orientation cues for blind walkers. And then when I step in that puddle I didn't know about, my feet stay dry. Great shoes overall.”
“I just love these shoes for wet weather. They are so lightweight...feels like you're walking on clouds. The only downside of the shoes is they are a bit tight to put on but after breaking them in for awhile, the shoes are okay. Keeps my feet dry. Looking forward to future purchases with Vessi products.
