“Love the idea of these shoes, they were a gift but trying to figure out the right size was a bit hard. Originally I had to get a men's size, as the ladies was sold out, I used the sizing chart but found the men's sizing was too wide and just chunky looking on my foot. The process to exchange was seamless. I did have to wait a bit to have the ladies sizing come back in stock, but I was added to an alert list and I had my exchange within 1.5 weeks, no issues. I like the style and that these shoes are waterproof; I have worn them in the snow and gone in city 'slush' with no issues. Width wise, I don't have wide feet, but I feel if you do there is plenty of room in the ladies style for a wide foot or thick sock, but your best bet would be a men's if you have swollen feet and big ankles. The sole is comfortable but for me I feel I had to break them in to make them feel comfortable to walk in, I just found the sole to feel weird in spots on my foot when walking. In addition, I wish they provided a better support at the arch. I feel over time the fabric will loosen and the light support you feel from that for your arch will be gone. As mentioned sizing was an issue. I am a 7.5, the chart recommends sizing up to an 8 and the 8 fits but it does have more room than I would usually expect, but if I went down to a size 7 they would be too small, having my toes too close to the end. Overall it is a great stylish, innovative product, just some small things that can be improved upon in future designs.”

“Returns were easy, shoes are warm and dry! They honored my black Friday sale for a new pair after the sale was over since they ran out of my size. Wearing them in the snow to get from one store to another with no second thought. Loving them. I wish they would have more styles and that the Everyday sneakers were listed as wider since they were a very different fit from the cityscape. I only wish they had black on black. I highly recommend them!”
“In the first few weeks after I bought these shoes, some of the stitching came unraveled. I contacted customer servic and they told me to simply cut off the stitching that had come loose. However now, around 2 months later, the shoes are no longer waterproof as a larger hole has formed. I'm really regretting buying them, as they have definitely not held up to my expectations.”

“I'm on to my second pair of black cityscape's after getting my first a few years ago and wearing them LITERALLY to death by walking around in them for 8 hours a day at work. They were/are lifesavers! My ankles and legs used to get sore after a shift but with my vessi's they rarely did. They're the comfiest, stylish, and driest sneakers I've ever owned. (Oh not to mention I have two other different pairs, and my boyfriend has three as well! We're definitely a vessi household)”
“I now own 3 pairs of Vessis and love them all! they are as advertised - totally waterproof. the only problem is I'm waiting for availability in my size so I can pick up another pair. I also worked with the customer service reps and they were able to help me on a size exchange. I was a little annoyed that I couldn't phone somebody as I had some specific questions but my emails were replied to promptly and I got everything I need. I have recommended this product to many friends/family and recently bought 3 pairs as gifts this Christmas!”

“I like the shoes but I went with the larger size (I’m a half size) and they are a little big. I’ve worn them so won’t go through a return but I do with I’d gotten the smaller size.
Otherwise super waterproof, nice looking shoes”
Hi Alexandra! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Sorry finding the right size was a little tough. May we suggest maybe switching out the stock insoles for a thicker pair of 3rd-party insoles? Having a thicker insole in there might help take up a little more room. Thanks for the review!
