I wanted to love these very cool looking shoes not to mention waterproof as a bonus! However, after only 2 short walks in them I am suffering from heal pain! Unfortunately this was a waste of money as I will not be able to wear them!

Hi Cindy, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We're very sorry to hear that you're experiencing discomfort from your Vessis. It definitely doesn't sound like a fun experience. We'll be sure to forward your comments to our Product Team. As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low support which is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own insoles for additional support and comfort. We recommend trying that out to see if it helps! Thank you again for the review as we're always looking for ways to improve our shoes! We hope your shoes will work out for you after breaking them in.

I'm thrilled with the quality of service and the shoes - both have been lovely. However I am concerned about the width of the shoe. It does feel tight across the top/ broadest part of my foot. I will try them out over the next few days. I really hope they fit properly for me because I've heard great things about Vessi.

Hi Kristy, It’s normal for the shoes to be a little firm to start. Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. You do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. However, if you have issues still you can send us an email at support@vessi.com.

You might as well buy a cheap sneaker from the store. These shoes offer no support and are uncomfortable. I’ve worn them for two months and the insoles have already been torn up just from walking casually.

Hi Carlie, We are sorry to hear that you haven't had a great experience with your Vessis, but we are happy that our agent was able to provide a solution for you! Just to further answer your questions, in order to keep Vessis lightweight, the insole we designed does not provide much arch support for some. While some do find our Vessis comfortable, we understand not everyone will. Thank you again for reaching out to us and providing your feedback, we appreciate it!

Overall, this is an okay shoe for the price and I’m glad to read that there are many people that have positive experiences with their Vessi shoes, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t quite work for me. I work 12 hr shifts as an RN so I wanted shoes that were light weight, liquid repellant, and comfortable to walk in. For me, Vessi fits 2/3 of these. In a lot of the model pictures advertised on their site, the shoes are pictured with people wearing low ankle socks. In my experience, due to the design of the front tongue of the shoe and back heel collar, these shoes CANNOT be worn with low ankle socks. I’ve worn these shoes twice to work so far and each time, I’ve developed redness and irritation where the shoe touches my skin. I had to put bandaids over my skin to make it through the shift. Side note: I don’t have cankles. Lol. Hopefully, it will feel better with mid length socks, but this is a design flaw that I hope the Vessi team can fix.

Hi Katrina, We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing pain and tightness with your Vessis, especially with the use of ankle socks. It is true that Vessis are meant to sit snug against the foot, but they shouldn't cause intense pain. Have you worn these since or seen any improvement? It does take a bit of time to wear in, but the knit should stretch over time and better form to your foot. We would also suggest using a piece of rolled up cardboard or a circular object to help stretch the knit. If you are planning to be on your feet for long hours with your Vessi (as we suspect you are, being an RN) we would also suggest replacing the insoles. We're aware that due to the material to keep them light weight that they may not work for everyone. We are in the process of implementing a new insole, but that won't be for a few more weeks. One of our agents has already reached out to inquire more information on your experience. If you have any further feedback, we'd love to hear it.
