“Pros: The shoes are comfortable. I'm happy to have a multi purpose pair of shoes I can use for travelling. Cons: They are a little too wide for me, and I find they look bulky on my feet. I would be happy if you made a more streamlined looking/feeling pair.”

I'm sorry to hear you have been experiencing discomfort at the back of your heels from your shoes. Our ankle opening is a little firm to start, therefore you could experience some discomfort before it stretches out to perfectly accommodate your feet. I would definitely recommend giving your feet time to heal before giving your shoes a try again. When you are able to try your shoes again many customers have found that heel liners to cover up that area work really well while your shoes are adjusting to your feet.
