“They are just an amazing shoe. I hated when my feet got wet in my other sneakers whenever it was raining outside. When I saw these as waterproof I got excited. When I got the shoes it was a cute style of shoe and got excited for the next time it rained. When it finally did, I walked to work from the parking lot and the grocery store parking lot and no wet feet!! I had a great time with it!! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!”

“I visited some friends in Vancouver and they could not stop talking about their Vessies so naturally I bought a pair to try. I wore mine on a very rainy day and was shocked my feet stayed dry the whole day. The sole is very sturdy and a lot firmer than my normal running shoes from the big sports brands - I personally would not wear these for running as I prefer a softer, bouncier sole. I wore these for an entire day and on subsequent trips (airport, walks, etc.) and while there is a lot less cushioning than I’m used to, I wouldn’t say they are uncomfortable. The shoes are surprisingly very breathable so they would also be perfect for summer walks/hikes in unpredictable weather. The only thing I didn’t like were the laces - they are tube-shaped rather than flat tapes, which means they come undone quite easily (although you could just double-knot your laces).
I usually wear a size women’s US8/8.5 and ordered the 8 to try but it was too snug at the toes, so exchanged for a size 9. Exchange process was easy and the shoes arrived in time for my returning flight home. Like Vancouver, we get a lot of rain in London, UK - these will definitely be a staple in my daily life. Will be on the lookout for more colours and styles and hopefully will see Vessi in the UK in the near future!”
