“Love the shoe but struggling a bit with the fit. They are not easy to put on, too snug to easily slide my foot in. Better with a thinner sock but as I purchased them for a travelling shoe as I will be doing alot of walking, I was hoping to wear them with a more cushioning sock. As your literature says, they will form to your feet the more you wear them, I am trying that right now. Wearing them in the house as the weather is too inclement for outside wear. Other than that, love the material and design.”
“Chose these ones over the cityscapes as they have more cushioning and they're still slip ons despite the laces!!! Rly comfortable and waterproof (but they do take a bit longer to dry off on the outside than my everyday classics).”
Hi Janelle,
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We’re sorry to hear your Vessis aren't providing you the amount of comfort you're looking for, we can imagine how disappointing that must be. It's quite normal for the ankle opening to be a little snug to start. Over the first few wears of your new shoes, you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate your foot shape. By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening.
Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.
All that said, I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve. We'll use your insight towards our research and development for our future design improvements.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
“Very comfortable and the cushion inside the shoe is a big improvement from my last pair I had purchased. I liked it so much I convinced friends to buy as well”
