“The waterproof side is a big plus. But, the inside sole is not comfortable. I have an arch on my foot, and the sole is flat, so it is not very comfortable for my arch. I have to add an insole that support my arch. If you make the insole to support the arch, it will be a 5 stars. I have a Nike runner and the insole is perfect and soft so it supports my foot arch. I support with a note on the flat insole.”

As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support - some people love this whereas some people don't. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for more customized fit and comfort. That said, we will certainly share your thoughts with the rest of the team as we feel it is important to take into consideration all of the feedback we receive from our customers.

“Perfect shoe for the especially the winter, spring and fall months. I believe that they will work in the summer as well. The wideness of the front of the shoe fits my odd shaped feet for the first time in my life, I have shoes that fit both my size (9) and shape (wide in front).
My only concern was that the left shoe's insert is loose and maybe needed more gluing as it bubbles up when I take my shoe off and comes out of it...I'm not sure if it's meant to do that, but my right shoe's insert remains in place in the shoe.”

“I got these shoes on September 15th. I've been working from home during the pandemic, so I really only leave the house to shop for groceries and to ride my bike for exercise. The platform pedals on my bike, and occasional tire contact have been tearing the soles apart.
I'm sure that they're fine for walking. Aside from the soles, these shoes are a 5/5 for me, the waterproofing in particular is excellent, but they're just not going to last for me and are already a bit visually ruined around the soles.
Still recommended with the caveat that they aren't working for me.
