“Now, the Vessi shoes are great. They're comfortable, they work as intended, and they look alright. However, I specifically chose the Men's everyday for extensive use, and yet the sole of the shoe is really flat and hard. I wear my shoes to work, which is just pushing carts at a grocery store for hours, so no "serious" use just alot of walking. And having such poor soles on these shoes hurts my heels only after 2 hours, and I'm a fit person so I know it's the shoes. My 20$ discount shoes don't even do that. "...extra arch support and sportier soles." Really just isn't true here. Also, as everyday shoes, they should fit well for different types of moving, right? Well they're the kind of shoes that your heel can easily slip out of if you lean forward. Very annoying.
But, again, they're not bad shoes. It's very nice not having to worry about water or other crap seeping through and getting on my feet. I just kinds regret paying 120 dollars for them...”
“Comfortable, stylish and, most importantly, dry. Happy with my Vessies and you should be too.
If, for any reason, you're not happy with the service then their wonderful customer service will definitely help you. I cannot recommend them enough.”
“As I've said in my other reviews, I really, really like Vessis. The Everyday is a comfortable, lightweight shoe that promises everything it says. I would give these a 4.5/5, the .5 deduction being the width of the shoe. I realize I do have slightly wider than normal feet but I still had to size up to an 11 to fit comfortably. Other than that the only issue I had over 2 years was the heel fabric tearing from the base. It was out of warranty but still upsetting as I take care of my shoes very well. I replaced the shoes when it was on sale but if Vessi could bring their prices down to the $80-100 price point it would attract a lot more customers. Their service however is great, and provide hassle free returns/exchanges. I suppose such is the cost of paying employees a living wage and providing an overall great experience to the end user, but for what you get (quality of materials, cushioning, etc.) it could stand to be a few dollars cheaper. Other waterproof shoes at non-lifestyle stores (i.e Mark's) can go for $60-80, while Timberlands and outdoor stores can be in the $200+ range. Not that I'm justifying Vessi's prices but they seem to still be priced at Startup/Kickstarter prices when they've already established their brand and supply chain which should in theory lower their costs.”
“So I was skeptical about Vessi at first but being that guy who hates wearing rain/winter boots, I decided to give it a try. Wow oh wow do I wish I had done that sooner! They really do be waterproof! I wear my Vessi at work - the typical long hours standing kind, and I am very surprised at how comfortable and breathable it was! No insoles, no uber sweaty feet! I'm really glad I decided to buy Vessi, it's a game changer!”
