“I bought these Vessi's to wear at my work. I work at an aquatic center, therefore I tend to step on puddles and get water splashed onto my shoes. That's not even the craziest part of the job when it comes to water. Every closing shift, it is important to hose down the pool deck. Before owning vessis, my shoes and socks got drenched every time we hosed. Now, with a pair of vessis, I can come home from a shift with dry socks. “I recently changed jobs to where I work outdoors in the elements so was hoping to just get something that would at least keep my feet mostly dry. So far I have not been disappointed. I've worked in torrential rain and in snow and ice over the past 8 months and these things have kept my feet COMPLETELY dry. I worry about how long they'll last merely because I'm not sure they're designed for the type of physical labor they're being used for, but so far they've held up. I would be really interested if they ever made one for the working individual. Definitely would recommend a purchase of these shoes tho.”

“My Vessis are fine to wear around the house, but they aren't of much use elsewhere. Here's why: I have wide feet, so I ordered a 10, but I find them to be very loose from toe to heel. Running (or even light jogging) isn't practical, because they slip off at the heel.
I would consider buying another pair, but I'm unsure of whether I should be aiming for a 9 or a 9.5.

“I use these shoes exclusively for work and I also walk pretty much most of the time to my workplace. They’ve held up surprisingly well considering I walk pretty much 3+ miles daily. I think my only issue I had at first was the lack of half sizes when checking out. I was too scared to get 9’s since I wasn’t sure how they’d fit so I ended up getting 10’s. The first couple times I wore them they definitely felt a little too roomy, but they do somehow become more fitting the more you wear them. It’s also really nice knowing that I can accidentally spill dishwater on them without having to worry about soggy socks for the rest of my shift. They’ve also been the only pair of shoes I’ve owned that didn’t make my feet hurt at some capacity. I always kinda thought shoes were supposed to hurt, but apparently that doesn’t have to be the case. I’d definitely consider buying these if you work in fast food or do a lot of walking - or even both of those things.”
