“I love the shoes but as they’re water tight, they’re difficult to put on. Why not add a tab at the back similar to other shoes which enable you to more easily put the shoes on.”

Thank you for your feedback! We have not placed a loop at the back of the shoes on our other collections as we find that continuous stretching on that specific area might affect the waterproofing feature of the shoes. But no worries, our new Weekend collections already has a loop at the back to make it easier to put on.

“The shoes are great. I love it.
However, it would have been nice to have a better way to choose shoe sizes.
I initially picked size 9 because my previous sneakers were size 8.5. But I couldn't fit my feet in the shoes at all. So I requested an exchange (it was quick and easy) and got a pair of size 10.
It fits better now but still a bit tight around the ankles. let's hope it stretches over time because a second exchange might just be too much effort for buying a pair of shoes.”

Not to worry, after a few more wears the ankle opening will have loosened up to become the perfect fit for your feet. We recommend a shoehorn in the meantime if you're having difficulty putting them on.

“I was super impressed with how quickly the shoes arrived and the attention to detail of the shoes. My husband noticed immediately the Vancouver cityscape on the soles and my kids could recognize features of the skyline so that was pretty neat.
What I am unsure about is the fit of the shoes themselves. I wish there were half sizes as I already have a half size difference between my feet so one shoe fits well and the other feels really big. I also found the top to be quite tight on the top of my foot which I hope will stretch out with wear.”

It’s normal for the shoes to be a little firm to start. Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!

For those, I love their overall quality, comfort, color palette and how they've held up over the months I have had them. The only problem I have found thus far is the sole keeps losing its place in one of my shoes and leads to my heel being slightly uncomfortable at times until I readjust.”

For your insole, have you tried using double sided tape to keep the insole in place? We have left the insoles removeable so they can be easily replaced with orthotics (for those who need it) and we find that for those who have this issue, double sided tape works very well.
